President - George Mollo
A 35+ year veteran of the direct marketing, wholesale and retail industries, George Mollo has served in senior executive positions for several direct marketing companies, including "start-ups" and "turnarounds.” These companies included Lillian Vernon Corporation, Genesis Direct, Disney Direct, and J. Crew Group, Inc. before starting his own consulting company in 2000 (www.linkedin.com/in/georgemollo/). His hands-on experience at all levels of management, including financial, operational, systems, and merchandising, has enabled him to consult with numerous companies to establish cost-cutting measures and implement long-term profit strategies. He is also on the board of the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce, since 2013 and as Treasurer from 2014 to the present.

Secretary - Jerry Tuchband
Jerry's career spanned 33 years in the retail industry as a buyer and inventory planner for A&S, Bamberger’s and Macys. In 2006, he migrated to the supply side as an inventory analyst for a home textiles import company serving all major retailers across the country. Jerry grew up on Long Island, earned an MBA at Adelphi University and moved to his current home in Nanuet in 1980. He retired in August 2017 after a 43 year career. He currently serves as Secretary on the Nanuet Chamber board and enjoys walking dogs as a temporary job when not gardening, running, bicycling or fishing.

Helene Carey
Helene grew up in Nanuet and has been a resident for more than 20 years. She is the second of four sisters who grew up in a family that champions volunteerism and community involvement. Helene is proud that in less than three years after graduating from Nanuet High School, she obtained her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware.
Helene’s passion for volunteer work started at an early age as a Daisy with the Girl Scouts of America. She has always valued time volunteering within the community. Her work renovating a food pantry, in our neighboring town of Spring Valley, earned her the Girls Scout Gold Award which is awarded annually to only a small handful of scouts who successfully complete a project proven to have a significant positive impact on the world and community. She has also traveled to other communities in the US to help build homes for families in need with the Habitat for Humanity organization.
In 2019, Helene went back to school and obtained a Paralegal certificate. She is currently employed in Nanuet as a Paralegal at a Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Law Firm.

Elise Lenz
Elise has spent the last 25 years working in a variety of financial and marketing roles. The companies include Unilever, Georgia Pacific, and Tetley. She currently works for PDI, Inc. the leading manufacturer of pre-moistened wipes in the Healthcare and Foodservice Industries, as a Senior Product Manager. She focuses her time on developing and launching new products into the marketplace. She received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and MBA from the University of New Haven. Elise moved to Rockland County 4 ½ years ago, and now resides in Nanuet with her daughter and Husband. She loves to travel, cook and is an avid reader.

Sharon Martini
Sharon runs the day-to-day operation for the Home Delivered Meal Program, Social Work and Transportation. She joined the Meals on Wheels team in May of 2013 as the Volunteer Coordinator. Sharon has achieved success in recruiting and retaining over 400 volunteers, and running special programs such as blizzard boxes and the Mutts and Meows Pet Pantry. Sharon's past administrative experience is in operations in the fields of home health care and corporate-level restaurant management with a Fortune 500 company. Sharon is also extremely active in the community and volunteers with the scouts, local schools, and other organizations.

Carolyn Piranio
Carolyn Piranio grew up in Bardonia, New York and is the eldest of four siblings. Carolyn did not move far, as she and her husband Joseph have made Nanuet their home for the past 20 years. Carolyn formerly worked as a journalist for a Rockland-based newspaper and later had an extensive career as a technical editor/writer at a top 10 nationally ranked engineering firm. Her editing and writing skills have served her well in her current occupation helping to manage the office at a successful prosthetics and orthotics company. Carolyn’s daily dealings with doctors and insurance companies have helped add to her skillset. She is a member of the Lions Club of Nanuet and can be found out and about on various weekends fundraising for a variety of local and national charities. As a member of the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce, Carolyn is judging entries for the Chamber’s 2018 scholarship awards. Carolyn is a graduate of Clarkstown Senior High School South and Marymount College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a Journalism Concentration.
